Symptoms of the tumor to the brain or spinal cord







The signs or symptoms of the tumor to the brain and the spinal cord may vary depending on the location of the tumor and they are the same that the tumor is not cancer or cancer. The signs and symptoms appear when the tumor is large enough to disrupt the functioning of the brain or spinal cord. Other medical conditions can cause the same symptoms as the tumor to the brain or spinal cord.

The signs or symptoms of the tumor in the brain include:


headache that may be more intense in the morning or that worsens when they are busy
epileptic seizures
nausea and vomiting
changes in personality, thinking, mood and behavior
difficulty speaking or understanding words
abnormal movements
difficulty walking
weakness on one side of the body
fine motor skills disorders
difficulty swallowing and eating
vision, whose slightly blurred vision, double vision and vision loss
hearing problems
balance disorders
drowsiness
fatigue
numbness in part of the body
confusion
coma
The signs or symptoms of spinal cord tumor include:

sharp pain in the back or neck may radiate into the arms or legs, to be deaf, or searing or more intense night
weakness
numbness
lack of coordination, usually on both sides of the body
changes of posture
difficulty walking
disorders of the bladder, such as an urgent need to urinate, an inability to urinate or a loss of control of the bladder (incontinence)
intestinal disorders such as constipation or a loss of control of bowel (incontinence)
syndrome of Brown-Sequard, which can cause a loss of sensation and motor of the same side of the body as the tumor and a loss of sensation of pain and temperature on the opposite side of the body to the tumor
In some cases, the tumor to the brain or spinal cord can cause serious problems. These emergencies due to cancer must be addressed immediately:

pressure on the spinal cord (spinal cord compression)
increased pressure inside the skull (intracranial hypertension)
